A tuition fee is required for each camper. Parents are responsible for participating in fundraising activities. Campers cannot be a danger to him/herself or to others. Campers cannot require nursing care with the exception that the camper provides his/her nurse or personal assistant.
Camp P.O.P. will not discriminate by race, color, gender, national origin, creed, disability or income level. All new applicants will be assessed to determine if they are able to be supported by the program. The program is structured in groups depending on each child’s needs and the day’s events. The staff to child ratio could be 1 to 2 or 1 to 3 and occasionally 1 to 4. Assessments are generally done by our Camp Program Director. Camp P.O.P. is committed to the safety and enjoyment of those under our care.
Rules
The board reserves the right to terminate a camper’s participation due to unforeseen circumstances.
Parents MUST provide transportation to and from Camp P.O.P. (unless bussing is provided) and accompany their child until camp begins.
The year’s camp is divided into two sessions. Campers are invited to apply to one or both sessions.
Early Childhood, Primary, and Intermediate Camp Hours: 9-3pm
Parents MUST fulfill one volunteer commitment per session of enrollment.
Parent(s) transporting their camper daily MUST arrive by 9am and promptly pick them up by 3pm. All community experience transportation leaves on time. We don’t want your child to miss their ride!
